About Maine searches:
Corrections records of statewide felony and state-level misdemeanor convictions on persons who have been sentenced to serve time at a state facility since 1992. Results show the defendant name, DOB, race, sex, case number, county, date of crime, charge(s), sentence and release date. Records updated quarterly.
Any person sentenced as a sex offender or a sexually violent predator on or after June 30, 1992 are included. Records updated monthly.
The Federal search includes criminal records that fall under Federal Law. These records originate from the Federal District Courts within each state. They can include the interstate distribution of drugs, firearms, kidnapping, embezzlement, and other federal level crimes. Federal offenses are generally felonies and result in at least one year of incarceration. Results may include docket, offense, and disposition information. This search is conducted with the subject's name only on a per state basis. Due to the wide scope, a common name can generate multiple “hits”. Therefore, a middle name is highly recommended if available.
