About Indiana searches:
Corrections records of statewide criminal records on persons who have been convicted of felonies and sentenced to serve jail time since 1985. These records include persons guilty of felonies and some state-level misdemeanors. Results show the defendant name, DOB (month and year only), race, sex, case number, county, charge(s), sentence date and sentence. Records updated monthly.
All sex offenders sentenced since July 1996 are also included. Records updated monthly.
The Federal search includes criminal records that fall under Federal Law. These records originate from the Federal District Courts within each state. They can include the interstate distribution of drugs, firearms, kidnapping, embezzlement, and other federal level crimes. Federal offenses are generally felonies and result in at least one year of incarceration. Results may include docket, offense, and disposition information. This search is conducted with the subject's name only on a per state basis. Due to the wide scope, a common name can generate multiple “hits”. Therefore, a middle name is highly recommended if available.
